I want to learn the inside scoop from Garrettsville residents, young and old. I am new to the area, purchasing a home in 2017 and becoming part of this wonderful community.
Well I made a change and instead of the normal Friday lunch review I went to breakfast on a Saturday. Since I live local I figure I could try and hit different days and meals.
The Sidewalk Cafe...Yummy! Sausage gravy and biscuits. One of my all time favorite meals hands down and a place with this meal on the menu is considered perfect in my eyes. I got what looked like four smaller biscuits under a generous portion of sausage gravy. Big chunks of sausage and bunches of them to boot. The gravy was tasty, with a little zing. Great flavor. If this was not homemade I will eat my hat in the next review. If it was store bought, then let me know where to get it so I can pour it all over my hat. Great Saturday crowd as always, free wi-fi, staff was great, coffee never stops flowing either. For $3.99 this is a great deal that seems to be seasonal. I am going to do my best to convince the whiz of cooktop to keep this item on the permanent menu. JT
Susan, There is another blog that some of the people that read here also read. In that blog there was a reference to a bloggers cat getting more email than I do. It was a funny attempt to make me feel bad, but it seemed to have found it's way over here. The other blog is called "Whats happening Painesville", if you don't know. They have a different way there, and in part that was the reason that I created this blog. I hope that clears up the cat mystery for you. JT
