Dieting 101
I have lost 125 pounds in the last two years, not the same pounds over and over either doubters. I have changed my life for the better and I am willing to help you if needed. I don't claim to be an expert, just did well with a diet and workout plan. I will say, that I really hate the word "diet", it has the word "die" in it, as most diet's do, die out. If you have questions add them in and I wil do my best to give you suggestions. I cook and buy my own food and can also suggest ideas of things to eat to make your food plans more exciting.

What is your calorie intake for the day?
Whats your daily meals look like, any beef, chicken, pork. How about suppliments?
Whats your weight today? are you still over weight?
I will get to the questions you have but I have a different approach and I will tell you where I got it from. Through other channels I met a person, Steve Taddie, he was Mr. California for fitness in 2005 I think. He is a personal trainer as of today and he gave me the diet that I am no currently. Les of a diet and more of a food plan. It is a modified south beach type plan in that CARBS are the enemy not calories. I would be glad to email a copy of my food plan with allowable food and prohibited foods, along with proper meal planning to anyone that wants it. Now to the questions.
1. I do not count calories, but CARBS. For two weeks I keep it under 20 CARBS and then after that two weeks I keep it to 100 per day.
2. If you request the food plan you can see what the meals look like but for dinner last night I had 2 salmon burgers, bunless with mayo, 2 cups steamed broccoli. Very satisfied. I do eat beef chicken, pork, fish, turkey tons of salads, and veggies, from the list of course, some veggies have CARBS. The meats however are only the leanest cuts of each, explained of the food plan list.
2a. I do use supplements. I take in 40g, 2 scoops, of protein in the morning using a powder bought at The Vitamin Shoppe, in Mentor. I take fish oil, multi vitamin (very important), and glucosimin for the joints, getting older. That's it. If I work out real hard I will take 20g, 1 scoop, with water to help the muscles recover.
3. I started at over 325 and today I sit at about 235. I am six foot one and 42 years old. Went from a 48 inch waist to a 36. Feel great, and all my doctors are very happy with my numbers. I am maintaining right now and enjoying life.
Thanks so much for the great questions and if you have any other questions or would like the food plan, email me through my profile and I will get it to you , confidentially of course.
Jt,

15 I sat at 275.
Hi JT
The post that Term. won't post about the Gym, is we would like it to be named after Obama, and Term. will not put it in ?
Do you think the things that other people have said about Term. in his past posts are true ?
First of all you do have the will power, you just have not learned how to harness it and let it work for you. I eat all the time and am never hungry. Eating the right foods at the right time is the key. Do not give up if this is something that you want to do. My health is better and I feel 100% better than I even have after being heavy for 20 years and fighting with my weight. I am willing to help you if you like, but you have to want the help first. Let me know. Keep in mind that you need to see a doctor first and discuss any food plans with them and make sure that you can support that type of thing medically. If you're game, send me a note through my profile and I will get the stuff to you. Hope to hear from you. JT
To anonymous about TERM. In his blog I try and just play a role of a positive force that is not ignorant to the ways of the world. I respect his wishes not to post things as I get some odd and foul suggestions here on occasion, but mostly people are civil. I will say that I believe half of what I see and none of what I hear. I like to prove things to myself to believe them and so for those reasons, I do not think that all that is posted about TERM is true. He is a community activist and without both sides going at it, things would be off-balance. Odd spot for this conversation but I hope that I answered your questions. JT
Tell me you don't agree with Terms views, hes a hater, that can't stand others that are not like him his Painesville would not include Blacks or Latinos. What a small mind.
Sorry it took so long to get back here, way to busy. At times I do hold the same views as TERM, "AT TIMES". He does have the capacity for good ideas, I just have always felt that the tactics used to get the job done were not what I would do is all. I don't like being mis informed as does he, I don't like being taxed without prior knowledge. BUT, I really feel that some of the ways that he goes about things are different from what I would do is all.
I have been called arrogant and a jerk recently, did it deter me, no. Because what I believe is kill them with kindness and you will have a better outcome. And to the racist comment I have read some of TERMS posts and I get more of a racist vibe from some of the anonymous posters than I do him. JT
