New store coming soon.
I noticed that there is a Verizon Wireless store going into the old Art Essence Gallery on Main St. It is next to Grande Designs and there are only some signs in the windows right now. Looks to be a good venture and maybe bring some people to the area to see the other gems in the area. Good luck Verizon Wireless!

Yes there is a cell phone store going there and there is a new cumputer store going in on N.State by the city credit union and a new printing shop opened on the corner of N.State & Main in the Key Bank Bldg, on the first floor.
That is great for Don Smith, he owns all 3 of the buildings they are going in.
Isn't that the same computer store that was on Main Street going down the hill ? I think they are just switching locations.
Yes it will be the same computer store as the one on Main St. I understand that they needed the extra space and it proves that there is business growth which s good. Also I understand that there is to be an internet cafe going in behind the new computer store location, very cool by the sounds of it. JT

Funny I don't feel any hate except from people who don't want an open discussion? Karen seemed to get under your skin Dave, but what about facts? Do they mean anything?
Everyone agree's that the fact are important, but some just feel that there is no need for a negative format while presenting those facts is all. Dave is also just making an observation as to what happens if you make suggestions when suggestions are not really wanted. JT
Great idea JT. How do you explain the condition of city streets in a "positive" format? Not looking for a fight but how did the city get into this shape?
It was a crazy winter for starters. When the weather goes cold and warm,like it did this winter, it is simple physics. When it gets cold, the roadway shrinks, when it gets warm, it expands, not trying to sound like a "know it all", but the question was asked. Add in water, snow, salt, and a ten ton plow crashing across them, and they get bad. I know that there are some bad roads, and there are plans to fix them. Some have already started. Look at route 2 for instance, I know, it's Mentor, they took the top layer off and then started to hammer away at other stuff. I have heard people complaining about that as well. They have to do things in a certain order.
People complained about the quality of Main St., months ago. Did anyone really expect the City to fix the roads when they expect more snow, plows, salt and so on?
My take is not to put a "positive spin" on every bad thing out there, I just know that the roads are going to get bad, matter of fact. I don't try and complain and I tell myself that the City is at fault and why don't they fix it? Yeah, the roads are bad, I am just dealing with it, just like I am sure that the City has plans too. JT
JT. The muffler, shops, front end alignment, tire shops think Painesville does a wonderful job.
JT, the city put up Main Street road repairs for bid, plus it would not be smart to re-due the road until after they get rid of the apartments.

Mr. "Rellik", Well to be honest I just got tired of the redohric over there. I still go and read and get my fill of sarcasim and dis-trust. I have merely choosen to refrain from the arguments is all. Besides in my line of work the nicer weather brings more work.
As for my bid to run for council, there has never been a more hotly debated topic. I can say for sure and without hesitation that the idea to run would intrigue me, however I will leave the matters of the City to the politicians and people who desire such position.

The attack on spelling is in part the reason I do not go over to TERMS site any longer. That is the norm when someone voices their opinion, I wish to avoid that conflict is all. As far as my spelling, never claimed to be an English major, but geeez, go one time without using spell check and you get drawn and quartered. And by the way, JT are my true initials. JT
