Downtown Community Garage sale anyone?
With Artful Hands closing I have learned that the community garage sale will not be going on. I would like to appeal to Doug Nagy to try and work this out and make it happen. I have sent him emails and am willing to assist if needed. I know that last year it was a big hit and brought untold numbers into the downtown area. I would like to see a big sidewalk day where all f the stores open their doors and maybe offer some smal deals to the crowds. Verizon Wireless might like the traffic...lets make this happen and let me know what you think.

Painesville's stimulus plan? a rummage sale? that will bringum to the big city.
jt, i know a town that does just that. in a town called thurmont in m.d. they have an art and craft fair and the whole town has a yard sale. they draw at least a hundred thousand folks from baltimore and d.c. they bus them in. see http://www.colorfest.org/
