911

Today is the eight anniversary of the attacks on our country. I do not try and press folks into remembering things but if you have a chance today thanks those that serve you everyday. I personally would like to thank the members of the US Armed forces and the men and women of your local Police and Fire departments.

As always I try to find positive things out of the bad, this will be no different. Even though we lost an enormous amount of people that day and afterward, we learned that we are all united and can work together for a common goal. We all could use that is our daily lives and I hope that you don't take that lightly.

Take a few minutes and look around annd be happy that you are alive today, regardless of your situation, life is a gift.

Back in the saddle again...

Well, I am going to try and stick around for a while. I have had some great and not so great times over the past few months. Got married, bought a house, moved, had surgery, but all seems to be well now and am enjoying the new home and life. Bought a home in Painesville City and stayed true to my word. I like this town and am trying to improve things here any way that I can. I was a renter, now I own. One step at a time.

I would like to applaud the City for this summer. There have been so many events and activities that I was never bored. Nice events, with quality people. I am looking forward to "The Taste of Painesville" coming up on the 3rd, hope to see you there!
