Why can't we mix salt with cinders from the electric plant?

Sorry "Mr. Rellik", that one comes out of left field for me being in the website information post. Maybe you could elaborate a bit. I assume, which I hate doing, that you mean during the winter time, but post what you mean and we will go from there. JT
Yes for the winter , Ritas complaining about the price of a ton of salt, why cant we mix it with the ciders from the power plant.

And do you know what kind of a mess Cinders would make in our sewers.

Well i do know that the cinders are usually reserved for the rural areas for that very reason as mentioned here, sewers. They do not dissolve like salt and would surely cause major problems for the system that we have in place already. I would also think that they would also bunch up along the curbs causing major road wear issues.
And to answer your question, NO, I am not TERM. I would like to say that if I were, with three blogs running I would not have time to have fun. One is enough for me. Besides, do you think TERM could be so positive all the time?? Just a friendly jab TERM. JT
