Some great holiday events happening in Painesville this week.

Spirit of the Season
Saturday, December 6th 12:00pm
Painesville Square & Main Street

Bring the family down to the Painesville Square on Saturday to see Santa and a Christmas Parade at PCIC's annual Spirit of the Season. The parade steps off at noon on Saturday. They'll be an opportunity for photos with Santa as well as holiday displays and children's activities.

Christmas Vespers
Sunday, December 7th 4:30pm
Morley Music Hall

Come experience the pageantry and spirit of Lake Erie College's Christmas Vespers concert on Sunday December 7, at 4:30 p.m.Christmas Vespers is one of the oldest traditions of the College, dating back to the early 1900s. The concert is free and open to the public.
Castways Concert
Friday, December 12th 8:00pm
The Storm Cellar (on the square)

Escape the winter cold and hear some live music at The Storm Cellar. The Castaways rocked Main Street at Taste of Painesville and are returning for an encore performance.

Dave, Thanks for the update on the happenings. True I have not been there for a while, guess I got tired of the glum talk around the holidays. They are my favorite time of the year and to be honest, I really am not a big fan of cats. Thanks again, JT

Did anyone go to the Vespers concert? I really wanted to go to that as I am a big history buff and enjoy taking part in olde tyme traditions. If you did, write a review and I will consider posting it. JT
